Sukta 6.1
तं त्वा वयं सुध्यो नव्यमग्ने सुम्नायव ईमहे देवयन्तः । त्वं विशो अनयो दीद्यानो दिवो अग्ने बृहता रोचनेन ॥
táṃ tvā vayaṃ sudhyo návyam agne sumnāyáva īmahe deváyantaḥ | tvaṃ víśo anayo dī́dyāno divó agne bṛhatā́ rocanéna ||
Engkau—yang baharu dan penunjuk yang benar—kami dambakan, wahai Agni, para pencari kurnia-Mu dan para pencari para dewa. Engkau memimpin kaum-kaum, menyala-nyala, wahai Agni, dengan cahaya luas dari alam terang langit.
