Sukta 5.7
आ यस्ते सर्पिरासुतेऽग्ने शमस्ति धायसे । ऐषु द्युम्नमुत श्रव आ चित्तं मर्त्येषु धाः ॥
ā́ yás te sarpir-āsuté ’gne śám asti dhā́yase | ā́ eṣú dyumnám utá śrávaḥ ā́ cíttaṃ mártyeṣu dhāḥ ||
Wahai Agni, sesiapa yang mencurahkan untuk-Mu sari mentega suci (sarpis) yang dipersembahkan—baginya ada kesejahteraan bagi daya peneguh-Mu. Maka letakkanlah dalam kalangan insan fana ini kelimpahan yang bercahaya, juga pendengaran yang terilham, dan budi yang terjaga.
