Sukta 5.29
सखा सख्ये अपचत्तूयमग्निरस्य क्रत्वा महिषा त्री शतानि । त्री साकमिन्द्रो मनुषः सरांसि सुतं पिबद्वृत्रहत्याय सोमम् ॥
sakhā sakhye apacat tūyam agnir asya kratvā mahiṣā trī śatāni | trī sākam indro manuṣaḥ sarāṃsi sutaṃ pibad vṛtra-hatyāya somam ||
Sebagai sahabat dalam persahabatan, Agni yang pantas menyiapkan baginya—dengan daya kehendak—tiga ratus yang perkasa. Dan Indra, bersama manusia, memenangi tiga aliran itu; setelah meminum Soma yang diperah, ia mara kepada pembunuhan Vṛtra—demi pembebasan air-air kewujudan.
