Sukta 3.57
या ते जिह्वा मधुमती सुमेधा अग्ने देवेषूच्यत उरूची । तयेह विश्वाँ अवसे यजत्राना सादय पायया चा मधूनि ॥
yā́ te jihvā́ mádhumatī sumedhā́ agne devéṣūcyáte urūcī́ | táyehá víśvā́n ávase yájatrān ā́ sādaya pāyayā́ cā́ madhū́ni ||
Lidahmu itu, penuh madu dan berakal budi yang halus, wahai Agni, di kalangan para dewa disebut sebagai yang luas-bercahaya. Dengan itu, di sini dudukkanlah segala kuasa yang patut dipuja demi pertolongan kami, dan jadikan mereka meminum segala kemanisan.
