Sukta 3.55
वि मे पुरुत्रा पतयन्ति कामाः शम्यच्छा दीद्ये पूर्व्याणि । समिद्धे अग्नावृतमिद्वदेम महद्देवानामसुरत्वमेकम् ॥
ví me puru-trā́ patayanti kā́māḥ śámy acchā́ dīdye pū́rvyāṇi | sam-iddhé agnā́v ṛtám íd vadema mahád devā́nām asura-tvám ékam ||
Keinginanku terbang ke banyak arah; menuju nyala yang dinyalakan aku membuat cahaya-cahaya purba bersinar. Dalam Agni yang menyala marilah kita menuturkan Ṛta itu sendiri—satu asura-tva yang mahaagung milik para Dewa.
