अग्निं सूनुं सनश्रुतं सहसो जातवेदसम् । वह्निं देवा अकृण्वत ॥
Transliteration
agníṃ sūnúṃ sanaśrútaṃ sáhaso jā́tavedasam | váhniṃ devā́ akṛṇvata ||
Translation
Agni—putera Sahas (Kekuatan), termasyhur sejak dahulu, Jātavedas, yang mengetahui kelahiran—dialah yang para dewa jadikan vahni, sang pembawa. Demikianlah kuasa-kuasa ilahi menegakkan dalam diri kita Api yang mampu membawa persembahan dan proses menjadi.
