Sukta 2.33
परि णो हेती रुद्रस्य वृज्याः परि त्वेषस्य दुर्मतिर्मही गात् । अव स्थिरा मघवद्भ्यस्तनुष्व मीढ्वस्तोकाय तनयाय मृळ ॥
pári no hetī́ rudrásya vṛjyā́ḥ pári tvéṣasya durmatír mahī́ gāt | áva sthirā́ maghávadbhyas tanuṣva mī́ḍhvas tokā́ya tánayāya mṛḷa ||
Jauhkanlah daripada kami panah Rudra; biarlah niat jahat yang besar daripada Yang garang itu berlalu. Bentangkanlah perlindungan yang teguh bagi para pemberi, wahai Rudra yang pemurah; berbelas-kasihlah kepada anak kami dan zuriat kami, kepada kesinambungan kerja batin.
