Sukta 10.7
इमा अग्ने मतयस्तुभ्यं जाता गोभिरश्वैरभि गृणन्ति राधः । यदा ते मर्तो अनु भोगमानड्वसो दधानो मतिभिः सुजात ॥
imā́ agne matáyas túbhyaṃ jātā́ góbhiḥ áśvaiḥ abhí gṛ́ṇanti rā́dhaḥ | yadā́ te márto ánu bhógam ānáḍ váso íti dádhāno matíbhiḥ sujāta ||
Wahai Agni, fikiran-fikiran ini, lahir untuk-Mu, memuji kepenuhan kurnia-Mu—kekayaan bercahaya: sinar-sinar (lembu) dan daya gerak (kuda). Apabila insan menuruti kenikmatan-Mu lalu mencapainya, sambil membawa dalam dirinya ‘Vasu’—zat yang sejati—dengan ilham-ilham yang tersusun benar, wahai Api yang mulia kelahiran-Nya.
