अश्नापिनद्धं मधु पर्यपश्यन्मत्स्यं न दीन उदनि क्षियन्तम् । निष्टज्जभार चमसं न वृक्षाद्बृहस्पतिर्विरवेणा विकृत्य ॥
aśnā́pinaddhaṃ mádhu páry apaśyan mátsyaṃ ná dīné udáni kṣiyántam | níṣ ṭaj-jabhāra cám asaṃ ná vṛkṣā́d bṛ́haspátir ví-ravéṇa ví-kṛtya ||
Ia melihat madu yang termeterai di dalam batu, seperti ikan yang menyusut dalam air yang sedikit. Lalu Bṛhaspati mengoyaknya keluar—seperti piala dari pohon—dengan seruan yang bergema jauh, yang memecahkan rupa.
