túbhyédám indra pári sicyate mádhu tváṁ sutásya kalaśásya rājasi | tváṁ rayíṁ puruvī́rām u naḥ kṛdhi tváṁ tápaḥ paritápyā́jayaḥ svàḥ ||

Translation

Untuk-Mu, wahai Indra, kemanisan madu ini dicurahkan sekeliling; Engkaulah raja bejana Soma yang diperah. Kurniakan kepada kami rayi—kelimpahan, kaya dengan banyak kekuatan wira; Engkau, dengan tapas (bara-ardor) yang mematangkan segala, telah memenangi langit bercahaya (svah).
