Sukta 10.15
इदं पितृभ्यो नमो अस्त्वद्य ये पूर्वासो य उपरास ईयुः । ये पार्थिवे रजस्या निषत्ता ये वा नूनं सुवृजनासु विक्षु ॥
idáṃ pitṛ́bhyo námo astv adyá yé pū́rvāso yá úparāsa ī́yuḥ | yé pārthíve rájasyā́ níṣattā yé vā nū́naṃ suvṛjánāsu vikṣú ||
Pada hari ini, sujud hormat ini bagi para Pitṛ (Bapa Leluhur): mereka yang terdahulu, dan mereka yang telah pergi ke yang lebih tinggi. Mereka yang bersemayam di alam bumi, dan mereka yang kini berada dalam kalangan kaum yang tersusun elok—semoga semuanya menerima tunduk-bakti kami.
