Sukta 10.10
न यत्पुरा चकृमा कद्ध नूनमृता वदन्तो अनृतं रपेम । गन्धर्वो अप्स्वप्या च योषा सा नो नाभिः परमं जामि तन्नौ ॥
ná yát purā́ cakṛmá kád dha nūnám ṛtā́ vádanto ánṛtaṃ rapema | gandharvó apsv ápyā́ ca yóṣā sā́ no nā́bhiḥ paramáṃ jā́mi tán nau ||
Jika dahulu kami pernah berbuat demikian, mengapa kini—ketika berkata benar—kami harus jatuh ke dalam yang tidak benar? Gandharva di dalam air, dan gadis perairan itu: dialah pusat kami, pertalian tertinggi kami—itulah ikatan antara kami.
