Sukta 1.52
यदिन्न्विन्द्र पृथिवी दशभुजिरहानि विश्वा ततनन्त कृष्टयः । अत्राह ते मघवन्विश्रुतं सहो द्यामनु शवसा बर्हणा भुवत् ॥
yád innv índra pṛthivī́ dáśa-bhujir áhāni víśvā́ tátananta kṛ́ṣṭayaḥ | átrā́ha te maghavan víśrutaṃ sáho dyā́m ánu śávasā barháṇā bhuvat ||
Wahai Indra, tatkala Bumi yang berlengan sepuluh menghampar sepanjang segala hari bagi sekalian kaum; maka di sini, wahai Maghavan (Yang Pemurah), kekuatanmu yang termasyhur jauh itu menjadi suatu pengangkatan yang amat besar—dengan gagah, menjulang hingga ke langit.
