Sukta 1.36
सं सीदस्व महाँ असि शोचस्व देववीतमः । वि धूममग्ने अरुषं मियेध्य सृज प्रशस्त दर्शतम् ॥
sáṃ sīdasva mahā́ṃ asi śócasva deva-vī́tamaḥ | ví dhūmám agne aruṣáṃ miyedhya sṛ́ja prá-śasta darsatám ||
Bersatulah dan duduklah di tempat dudukmu, kerana Engkau Mahā—Engkau luas; menyala-lah, yang paling dialu-alukan para dewa. Wahai Agni, yang suci bagi persembahan, lepaskan asapmu yang kemerah-merahan—jelas kelihatan dan terpuji—agar kuasa-kuasa ilahi datang dan kerja batin disempurnakan.
