गौरीर्मिमाय सलिलानि तक्षत्येकपदी द्विपदी सा चतुष्पदी । अष्टापदी नवपदी बभूवुषी सहस्राक्षरा परमे व्योमन् ॥
gaurī́r mimāya salilā́ni tákṣaty éka-padī dvi-padī sā́ catúṣ-padī | aṣṭā́-padī náva-padī babhūvúṣī sahásrākṣarā paramé vyòman ||
Yang Bercahaya (Gaurī) mengukur dan membentuk air yang mengalir; berkaki satu, berkaki dua, ia menjadi berkaki empat. Berkaki lapan, berkaki sembilan ia telah menjadi—yang bersuku kata seribu (sahasrākṣarā) di Ruang Tertinggi yang luas.
