वि यदस्थाद्यजतो वातचोदितो ह्वारो न वक्वा जरणा अनाकृतः । तस्य पत्मन्दक्षुषः कृष्णजंहसः शुचिजन्मनो रज आ व्यध्वनः ॥

Transliteration

ví yád ásthād yajató vā́ta-codito hvāró ná vakvā́ jaráṇā ánā́kṛtaḥ | tásya pátman dákṣuṣaḥ kṛṣṇá-jaṃhasaḥ śúci-janmano rája ā́ vyàdhvanaḥ ||

Translation

Apabila ia tampil berdiri—yang layak dipuja, digerakkan oleh Nafas (Vāta)—seperti kuda yang pantas; seorang penyanyi yang tidak dibentuk oleh pereputan; maka bagi daya-penyaksi (dakṣuḥ) itu—lahir daripada kesucian namun melangkah menembusi gelap—laluan yang teguh dibukakan merentas ruang-ruang.
