Obsequies for Daśaratha and the Brothers’ Lament
ब्राह्मणेभ्यो ददौ रत्नं धनमन्नं च पुष्कलम्।वासांसि च महार्हाणि रत्नानि विविधानि च।।।।
brāhmaṇebhyo dadau ratnaṃ dhanam annaṃ ca puṣkalam | vāsāṃsi ca mahārhāṇi ratnāni vividhāni ca ||
Dalam upacara śrāddha, Bharata mengurniakan kepada para Brahmana permata, harta kekayaan, makanan dan bijirin yang melimpah, pakaian yang amat bernilai, serta pelbagai jenis ratna dan batu permata.
