लक्ष्मणक्रोधः—दैवपुरुषकारविवादः
Lakshmana’s Wrath and the Debate on Destiny vs Human Effort
मङ्गलैरभिषिञ्चस्व तत्र त्वं व्यापृतो भव।अहमेको महीपालानलं वारयितुं बलात्।।।।
maṅgalair abhiṣiñcasva tatra tvaṃ vyāpṛto bhava | aham eko mahīpālān alaṃ vārayituṃ balāt || 2.23.29 ||
Laksanakanlah upacara penobatan dengan tata cara yang membawa berkat dan tetaplah sibuk menunaikannya; aku seorang diri, dengan kekuatanku, sudah memadai untuk menahan para raja (yang mungkin menentang) dengan paksaan.
The consecration may be performed with these auspicious materials. I am alone capable of facing these kings with my valour.
