Sukta 2
अ॒ग्नेः शरी॑रमसि पारयि॒ष्णु र॑क्षो॒हासि॑ सपत्न॒हा। अथो॑ अमीव॒चात॑नः पू॒तुद्रु॒र्नाम॑ भेष॒जम्
agnéḥ śárīram asi pārayiṣṇú rakṣohā́si sapatnahā́ | átho amīvācātánaḥ pūtudrúrnā́ma bheṣajám ||
Thou art Agni’s very body, a bearer across; thou art a slayer of demons, a slayer of rivals; yea, a driver-off of sickness—Pūtudru by name, a remedy.
Engkau ialah tubuh Agni sendiri, pembawa menyeberang; engkau penghalau raksasa, pembunuh para pesaing; bahkan pengusir penyakit—Pūtudru namanya, suatu ubat.
