Himne Paustika satu ayat ini menyeru Sarasvatī sebagai payudara yang tidak pernah habis, yang menyuburkan, daripadanya “harta pilihan” (vāryāṇi) tumbuh dan berkembang. Dengan memujinya sebagai pemberi kegembiraan, yang dicari perkenannya, mudah diseru, dan pemurah, mantra ini bertujuan memperoleh pertambahan yang berterusan dalam harta benda, kemakmuran, dan kesejahteraan melalui kelimpahan alirannya.
It is a Paustika (prosperity) mantra used to promote nourishment and the thriving increase of valuables—resources, wealth, and well-being—through Sarasvatī’s abundance.
The image presents Sarasvatī as a motherly, ever-flowing source of sustenance: from her fullness come delight, favor, and the growth of “choice treasures.”
No substances are required by the verse. Some practitioners optionally keep clean water nearby as a symbolic reminder of Sarasvatī’s flowing, nourishing presence.
