गृध्रस्तु सप्त वर्षाणि जायते खचरॆश्वरः ॥ चरन्तौ मानुषं मांसमुभौ तौ गृध्रजम्बुकौ ॥
gṛdhras tu sapta varṣāṇi jāyate khacareśvaraḥ || carantau mānuṣaṁ māṁsam ubhau tau gṛdhrajambukau
गिधाड सात वर्षे आकाशचारींचा अधिपती म्हणून जन्म घेतो; आणि ते दोघे—गिधाड व कोल्हा—मानवी मांस खात खात भटकत राहतात।
