Katha Upanishad 25: Verse 25
ये ये कामा दुर्लभा मर्त्यलोके सर्वान् कामांश्छन्दतः प्रार्थयस्व। इमा रामाः सरथाः सतूर्या न हीदृशा लम्भनीया मनुष्यैः। आभिर्मत्प्रत्ताभिः परिचारयस्व नचिकेतो मरणं मानुप्राक्षीः॥
ये ये कामाः दुर्लभाः मर्त्यलोके सर्वान् कामान् छन्दतः प्रार्थयस्व। इमाः रामाः सरथाः सतूर्याः न हि इदृशाः लम्भनीयाः मनुष्यैः। आभिः मत्प्रत्ताभिः परिचारयस्व नचिकेत�ः मरणं मा अनुप्राक्षीः॥
ye ye kāmā durlabhā martyaloke sarvān kāmāṃśchandataḥ prārthayasva | imā rāmāḥ sarathāḥ satūryā na hīdṛśā lambhanīyā manuṣyaiḥ | ābhirmatprattābhiḥ paricārayasva naciketo maraṇaṃ mānuprākṣīḥ ||
मर्त्य लोकात जे जे कामना दुर्मिळ आहेत, त्या सर्व कामना तुझ्या इच्छेनुसार माग. ह्या रथ आणि परिवारासहित रमणीया स्त्रिया मनुष्यांना मिळणार नाहीत. माझ्या दिलेल्या यांच्याद्वारे आनंद घे. हे नचिकेता, मृत्यूबद्दल विचारू नकोस.
Whatever desires are difficult to obtain in the mortal world, ask for all those desires according to your wish. These women with chariots and attendants are not to be obtained by men. By these, which have been granted by me, enjoy yourself. O Naciketas, do not ask about death.
