Sukta 9.88
अयं सोम इन्द्र तुभ्यं सुन्वे तुभ्यं पवते त्वमस्य पाहि । त्वं ह यं चकृषे त्वं ववृष इन्दुं मदाय युज्याय सोमम् ॥
ayáṃ sóma indra túbhyaṃ sunve túbhyaṃ pavate tvám asya pāhi | tváṃ ha yáṃ cakṛṣé tváṃ vavṛ́ṣa índuṃ mádāya yújyāya sómam ||
हा सोम, हे इंद्रा, तुझ्यासाठीच पिळला आहे; तुझ्यासाठीच तो शुद्ध होत वाहतो—तू याचे पान कर. ज्याच्यासाठी तू मार्ग घडविलास, ज्याला तू वाढविलेस, तो आनंद-बिंदू—तो सोम—तुझ्या मदासाठी आणि कर्माशी युजन (युज्या) करण्यासाठी आहे.
