तं त्वा मदाय घृष्वय उ लोककृत्नुमीमहे । तव प्रशस्तयो महीः ॥
Transliteration
táṃ tvā mադā́ya ghṛ́ṣvaya u lóka-kṛtnum īmahe | táva práśastayo mahī́ḥ ||
Translation
हे घृष्व (अग्निसदृश तेजस्वी) सोम! मद (आनंद)ासाठी आम्ही तुलाच शोधतो-पूजतो—समस्त लोकांचा कर्ता, पूर्ण-समग्र रचयिता. तुझ्या प्रशस्त्या महान आहेत; कारण तुझ्या हर्षामुळे आमच्या अंतःकरणात पूर्ण व सुव्यवस्थित सृष्टीची रचना घडते.
