अनर्शरातिं वसुदामुप स्तुहि भद्रा इन्द्रस्य रातयः । सो अस्य कामं विधतो न रोषति मनो दानाय चोदयन् ॥
ánarśarātiṃ vasudā́m úpa stuhi bhadrā́ índrasya rātáyaḥ | só asya kā́maṃ vidható ná roṣati máno dānā́ya codáyan ||
ज्याचे दान कधीही कमी होत नाही, त्या वसुदात्याजवळ स्तुती कर; इंद्राच्या रायत्या (दान) मंगलमय आहेत. जो यजमान/उपासक त्याची कामना विधिपूर्वक साधतो, त्याच्यावर तो रुष्ट होत नाही—दानासाठी मनाला प्रेरित करणारा.
