Sukta 8.46
आ नो वायो महे तने याहि मखाय पाजसे । वयं हि ते चकृमा भूरि दावने सद्यश्चिन्महि दावने ॥
ā́ no vāyo mahé tánē yā́hi makhā́ya pā́jase | vayáṃ hí te cakṛmā́ bhū́ri dā́vane sadyáś cin máhi dā́vane ||
हे वायो, आमच्याकडे ये—महान विस्तार (महे तने) यासाठी; यज्ञासाठी, आणि तेजस्वी पाजस् (बल-दीप्ती) यासाठी ये. कारण तुझ्या दानासाठी आम्ही पुष्कळ काही सिद्ध केले आहे; होय, आत्ताचसुद्धा, तुझे दान अवतरावे म्हणून आम्ही विशाल आधार तयार केला आहे.
