तं नो अग्ने अभी नरो रयिं सहस्व आ भर । स क्षेपयत्स पोषयद्भुवद्वाजस्य सातय उतैधि पृत्सु नो वृधे ॥
táṃ no agne abhī́ náro rayíṃ sahasva ā́ bhara | sá kṣépayat sá póṣayad bhúvad vā́jasya sā́taya utá édhi pṛtsú no vṛ́dhe ||
हे अग्ने, ती रयि (समृद्धी) आमच्यासाठी—मानवांसाठी—अभि (समोरून) विजयी सामर्थ्याने आण. ती प्रतिकूलांना पाडो; ती आमचे पोषण वाढवो; ती आमच्यासाठी वाज (बल/विजय) प्राप्ती ठरो; आणि युद्धांत आमची वृद्धीही होवो.
