वातत्विषो मरुतो वर्षनिर्णिजो यमा इव सुसदृशः सुपेशसः । पिशङ्गाश्वा अरुणाश्वा अरेपसः प्रत्वक्षसो महिना द्यौरिवोरवः ॥
vā́ta-tviṣo marúto várṣa-nirnijo yamā́ iva súsadṛśaḥ supéśasaḥ | piśáṅgāśvā aruṇā́śvā arepásaḥ prátvakṣaso mahinā́ dyáur ivóravaḥ ||
वाऱ्याच्या तेजाने दीप्त मरुत, वर्षेच्या आवरणाने आच्छादित; यम-युगलासारखे सुसदृश, सुरूप. पिशंग अश्वांचे, अरुण अश्वांचे स्वामी—निर्दोष, दृढ-अंग; महिमेने ते द्यौप्रमाणे व्यापक-नाद करणारे आहेत.
