ससृवांसमिव त्मनाग्निमित्था तिरोहितम् । ऐनं नयन्मातरिश्वा परावतो देवेभ्यो मथितं परि ॥
Transliteration
sasṛvā́ṃsam iva tmánāgním itthā́ tiróhitaṃ | áinaṃ nayan mātáriśvā parāváto devébhyo mathitáṃ pári ||
Translation
स्वभावतः वाहणाऱ्यासारखा—अग्नी तसाच होता; तरीही तो लपलेला होता. मातरिश्वा त्याला परावत (दूर-अतीपार) येथून घेऊन आला—देवांसाठी मंथन करून काढलेला—आणि येथे आणून ठेवला.
