Sukta 1.35
याति देवः प्रवता यात्युद्वता याति शुभ्राभ्यां यजतो हरिभ्याम् । आ देवो याति सविता परावतोऽप विश्वा दुरिता बाधमानः ॥
yā́ti deváḥ právatā yā́ty udvátā yā́ti śubhrā́bhyāṁ yajató háribhyām | ā́ devó yā́ti savitā́ parāváto'pa víśvā duritā́ bā́dhamānaḥ ||
देव प्रवत (उताराच्या) मार्गानेही जातो, उद्वत (चढाच्या) मार्गानेही जातो; यजनीय तो देव आपल्या दोन उज्ज्वल हरित (तांबूसवर्ण) अश्वांसह गमन करतो. सविता देव परावत (दूर-अतिदूर) येथून येऊन सर्व दुरिते दूर लोटतो.
