त्वमीशिषे वसुपते वसूनां त्वं मित्राणां मित्रपते धेष्ठः । इन्द्र त्वं मरुद्भिः सं वदस्वाध प्राशान ऋतुथा हवींषि ॥
tvám īśiṣe vasupate vasū́nāṃ tváṃ mitrā́ṇāṃ mitrapate dhéṣṭhaḥ | índra tváṃ marúdbhiḥ sáṃ vadasvādha práśāna ṛtuthā́ havī́ṃṣi ||
हे वसुपते! वसूंतील धन-वैभवाचा तू अधिपती आहेस; हे मित्रपते! मैत्रींचा तूच सर्वाधिक दृढ, श्रेष्ठ स्वामी आहेस. हे इंद्रा! मरुतांशी सुस्वर होऊन संवाद कर; आणि ऋताच्या क्रमाने हवि प्राशन कर—जेणेकरून आमच्यातही योग्य व्यवस्था (ऋत) प्रतिष्ठित होईल.
