प्रस्तुतिर्वां धाम न प्रयुक्तिरयामि मित्रावरुणा सुवृक्तिः । अनक्ति यद्वां विदथेषु होता सुम्नं वां सूरिर्वृषणावियक्षन् ॥
prástutir vāṁ dhā́ma na prá-yuktir áyāmi mitrāvaruṇā su-vṛ́ktiḥ | anákti yád vāṁ vidáthēṣu hótā sumnáṁ vāṁ sūrír vṛṣaṇāv íyakṣan ||
यज्ञ-धामातील सुबद्ध क्रमाप्रमाणे, माझी प्रस्तुती—हे मित्र–वरुणा—सुवृक्ति (सम्यक् वाणी) होऊन तुमच्याकडे पुढे सरकते. विदथांत (सभा/यज्ञ-समागमांत) होता तुम्हांला अभिषिक्त/अनक्त (लेपन करून) करतो तेव्हा, सूर्यसम तेजस्वी दाता (सूरि) तुमच्यासाठी—आणि तुमच्याकडून—तुमचे सुम्न (कृपा-आनंद) जिंकण्यासाठी याचना करतो, हे वृषणौ (बलवानो)!
