Sukta 1.144
अभीमृतस्य दोहना अनूषत योनौ देवस्य सदने परीवृताः । अपामुपस्थे विभृतो यदावसदध स्वधा अधयद्याभिरीयते ॥
abhī́m ṛtásya dohánā anūṣata yónau devásya sádane párī-vṛtāḥ | apā́m upásthe ví-bhṛto yád ā́vasad ádha svadhā́ ádhayad yā́bhir ī́yate ||
त्याच्या भोवती ऋताचे दोहन (दुग्ध-प्रवाह) निनादले—देवाच्या सदनात, योनिमध्ये, सर्व बाजूंनी आवृत. जेव्हा तो अपां (जल) यांच्या उपस्थात धारण होऊन येऊन स्थिरावला, तेव्हा त्याने स्वधा प्रवाहित केली—ज्या शक्तींनी तो पुढे प्रवास करीत राहतो.
