ही लघु इंद्र-स्तुती स्तोत्राच्या सामर्थ्याने शक्ती एकवटते, ज्यामुळे इंद्राची मदत केवळ यजमानाच्या बाजूकडे वळते आणि प्रतिस्पर्धी जनांपासून दूर राहते. गायींना बाहेर काढून वलाला दूर ढकलणाऱ्या इंद्राच्या आद्य विजयाची आठवण करून देत, ती वर्तमान स्पर्धेला संपत्ती, प्रकाश आणि गती यांच्या आदिम मुक्तीची पुनरावृत्ती म्हणून मांडते. स्तोम स्वतःच धावत्या लाटेसारखा इंद्राचा उन्माद वेगवान करतो; त्यामुळे विजय आणि लाभ हे पठणकर्त्यासाठी ‘चमकून’ प्रकट होतात, असे या सूक्तात सांगितले आहे.
