परा॑च एना॒न् प्र णु॑द॒ कण्वा॑न् जीवित॒योप॑नान्। तमां॑सि॒ यत्र॒ गच्छ॑न्ति॒ तत् क्र॒व्यादो॑ अजीगमम्

Sanskrit recitationAtharva Veda 2.25.5

parā́ca enā́n prá ṇuda kánvān jīvitayópanān | tamā́ṃsi yátra gáchanti tát kravyā́do ajīgamam ||

Drive ye these forth and far away—these Kánvas, life-besetters, near-approachers. Unto the darkness where they wend, thither have I dispatched the flesh-devourer.

यांना हाकलून द्या—दूर, फार दूर—या कण्वांना; जीवनाला पीडा देणारे, जवळ येऊन घात करणारे। ज्या अंधारात ते जातात, तिकडेच मी ‘क्रव्याद’ (मांसभक्षक) याला पाठविले आहे.
