शत्रुनिवारणम्। सु॒प॒र्णो जा॒तः प्र॑थ॒मस्तस्य॒ त्वं पि॒त्तमा॑सिथ । तदा॑सु॒री यु॒धा जि॒ता रू॒पं च॑क्रे॒ वन॒स्पती॑न्
शत्रु-निवारण. सुपर्ण (सुंदर पंखांचा) प्रथम जन्मला; त्याच्यात तू सर्वाधिक पित्त-बलवती आहेस. तेव्हा असुरी युद्धात जिंकली/वश झाली; तिने रूप धारण केले—आणि वनाचे स्वामी असलेल्या वनस्पतींना (प्रकट) केले.

आ॒सु॒री च॑क्रे प्रथ॒मेदं कि॑लासभेष॒जमि॒दं कि॑लास॒नाश॑नम्। अनी॑नशत् कि॒लासं॒ सरू॑पामकर॒त् त्वच॑म्
आसुरीने प्रथम हे केले—हे किलासाचे भेषज, हे किलास-नाशक. तिने किलास नाहीसा केला; तिने त्वचा सरूप (एकसारखी) केली.

सरू॑पा॒ नाम॑ ते मा॒ता सरू॑पो॒ नाम॑ ते पि॒ता। स॒रू॒प॒कृत् त्वमो॑षधे॒ सा सरू॑पमि॒दं कृ॑धि
‘सरूपा’ नावाची तुझी माता; ‘सरूपा’ नावाचा तुझा पिता. हे ओषधी, तू समरूप घडविणारी आहेस; म्हणून हे इथे सरूप (एकसारखे) करून दे.
