स धर्मः पीडितः पूर्वं सोमेनाद्भुतकर्मणा । तारां जिघृक्षता पत्नीं भ्रातुराङ्गिरसस्य ह ॥ ३२.९ ॥

ಹಿಂದೆ ಅದ್ಭುತಕರ್ಮನಾದ ಸೋಮನು ಧರ್ಮವನ್ನು ಪೀಡಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಭ್ರಾತೃ ಆಂಗಿರಸನ ಪತ್ನಿ ತಾರೆಯನ್ನು ಅಪಹರಿಸಲು ಬಯಸಿದಾಗ.
