ಕಾನ್ಯಕುಬ್ಜಾಧಿಪತಿ ರಾಜನು ಕ್ಷತ್ರಧರ್ಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಿರನಾಗಿದ್ದನು. ದೇವಗತ್ತೇಶ್ವರ ಶಿವನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನಿಗಾಗಿ ಸರ್ವಕಾಲ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸತ್ರ—ನಿರಂತರ ಯಜ್ಞ-ದಾನ—ಇತ್ತು.
