Sukta 9.96
प्र सेनानीः शूरो अग्रे रथानां गव्यन्नेति हर्षते अस्य सेना । भद्रान्कृण्वन्निन्द्रहवान्त्सखिभ्य आ सोमो वस्त्रा रभसानि दत्ते ॥
prá senānī́ḥ śū́ro ágre ráthānāṃ gavyánn eti hárṣate asya sénā | bhadrā́n kṛṇván indra-havā́n sákhibhya ā́ sómo vástrā rabhasā́ni dátte ||
ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಾನೆ ಸೋಮ—ರಥಗಳ ಅಗ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೂರ ಸೇನಾನಿ; ಗವ್ಯ (ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಗೋವುಗಳು/ಕಿರಣಗಳು)ಯನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನ ಅಂತರಂಗ ಸೇನೆ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಭದ್ರತೆಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿ, ಇಂದ್ರಹ್ವಾನ (ಇಂದ್ರನನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸುವ ಬಲ)ವನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿ, ಸೋಮನು ಸಖಿಗಳಿಗೆ ರಭಸವಾದ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾನೆ—ಪ್ರಕಾಶ-ಶಕ್ತಿಯ ಹೊಸ ಆವರಣಗಳನ್ನು.
