आ वंसते मघवा वीरवद्यशः समिद्धो द्युम्न्याहुतः । कुविन्नो अस्य सुमतिर्नवीयस्यच्छा वाजेभिरागमत् ॥
Transliteration
ā́ vaṃsate maghávā vīrá-vad yáśaḥ sam-íddho dyumny ā́-hutaḥ | kúvin no asya su-matír navī́yasī́ ácchā vā́jebhir ā́-gamat ||
Translation
ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಮಹಿಮಾವಂತ ಮಘವಾ ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ—ವೀರಬಲವನ್ನು ತರುವ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ; ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲಿತನಾಗಿ, ದ್ಯುಮ್ನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತ. ಅವನ ಸದಾ-ಹೊಸ ಸుమತಿ ವಾಜ-ಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಬಾರದೆಯೇ?
