Sukta 7.22
ये च पूर्व ऋषयो ये च नूत्ना इन्द्र ब्रह्माणि जनयन्त विप्राः । अस्मे ते सन्तु सख्या शिवानि यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥
yé ca pū́rva ṛ́ṣayo yé ca nū́tnā índra bráhmāṇi janáyanta víprāḥ | asmḗ te santu sakhyā́ śivā́ni yūyáṃ pāta svastí-bhiḥ sadā́ naḥ ||
ಹೇ ಇಂದ್ರ! ಪೂರ್ವದ ಋಷಿಗಳೂ, ಇಂದಿನ ನೂತನ ಋಷಿಗಳೂ—ವಿಪ್ರರು—ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನು (ಮಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು) ಜನಯಿಸುವಂತೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಸಖ್ಯವು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವವಾದ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಕರವಾದ, ತೇಜಸ್ವಿಯಾದದಾಗಿ ಇರಲಿ. ಹೇ ದೇವಶಕ್ತಿಗಳೇ! ನೀವು ಸದಾ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿಭಿಃ—ಮಂಗಳದ ವಿಶಾಲತೆಗಳಿಂದ—ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿರಿ.
