Sukta 6.49
अरुषस्य दुहितरा विरूपे स्तृभिरन्या पिपिशे सूरो अन्या । मिथस्तुरा विचरन्ती पावके मन्म श्रुतं नक्षत ऋच्यमाने ॥
aruṣásya duhitarā́ virū́pe stṛ́bhir anyā́ pipiśé sū́ro anyā́ | mithás-turā́ vicarantī pāvaké mánma śrutáṃ nakṣata ṛcyámāne ||
ಅರುಷ (ರಕ್ತವರ್ಣ)ನ ಎರಡು ದುಹಿತರರು, ರೂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಭಿನ್ನರು: ಒಬ್ಬಳು ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಯ ಅಲಂಕಾರಗಳಿಂದ ಅಲಂಕರಿತಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬಳು ಸೂರ್ಯನದೇ. ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಚಲಿಸಿ, ಪಾವಕ (ಶುದ್ಧಿಕಾರಕ) ಅಗ್ನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಮತ್ತು ಋಚಿ (ಸ್ತುತಿ) ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ, ಶ್ರುತ ಮನ (ಕೇಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಚಿಂತನೆ) ತನ್ನ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ತಲುಪುತ್ತದೆ.
