Sukta 3.55
मो षू णो अत्र जुहुरन्त देवा मा पूर्वे अग्ने पितरः पदज्ञाः । पुराण्योः सद्मनोः केतुरन्तर्महद्देवानामसुरत्वमेकम् ॥
mó ṣū́ no átra juhuranta devā́ mā́ pū́rve agne pítaraḥ pada-jñā́ḥ | purāṇyóḥ sádmanoḥ ketúr antár mahád devā́nām asura-tvám ékam ||
ಇಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರುಗಳು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಹಾಕದಿರಲಿ; ಓ ಅಗ್ನೇ, ಮಾರ್ಗಜ್ಞರಾದ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪಿತೃಗಳೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸದಿರಲಿ. ಎರಡು ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ನಿವಾಸಗಳ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಕೇತು (ದೀಪ-ಚಿಹ್ನೆ) ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತವಾಗಿದೆ—ದೇವರ ಏಕಮಾತ್ರ ಮಹತ್ ಅಸುರತ್ವ.
