त्वं च सोम नो वशो जीवातुं न मरामहे । प्रियस्तोत्रो वनस्पतिः ॥
Transliteration
tvaṃ ca soma no váśo jīvā́tuṃ ná marāmahe | priyá-stotro vánaspátiḥ ||
Translation
ಮತ್ತು ಹೇ ಸೋಮ! ನೀನು ನಮ್ಮ ವಶಃ (ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕ ಅಧಿಪತ್ಯ); ಜೀವಾತುಂ (ಬದುಕುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ)ಗಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಮರಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬೀಳದಿರೋಣ. ಹೇ ವನಸ್ಪತಿ (ವರ್ಧಮಾನ ಜೀವದ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ), ಪ್ರಿಯಸ್ತೋತ್ರ (ಸ್ತುತಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಿಯಪಡುವವನೇ)! ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಧರಿಸು, ಕಾಪಾಡು.
