अध प्र जज्ञे तरणिर्ममत्तु प्र रोच्यस्या उषसो न सूरः । इन्दुर्येभिराष्ट स्वेदुहव्यैः स्रुवेण सिञ्चञ्जरणाभि धाम ॥

Transliteration

ádha prá jajñe taráṇir mamattu prá rocy asyā́ uṣáso na sú̄raḥ | índur yébhir ā́ṣṭa sva-idúhavyaiḥ sruvéṇa síñcan jaráṇā abhi dhā́ma ||

Translation

ಆಮೇಲೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಸುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಜನಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅದು ತನ್ನದೇ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಮದಗೊಂಡು ವೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಲಿ; ಅದು ಉಷಸ್ಸಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೂರ್ಯನಂತೆ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಇಂದು (ಸೋಮ) ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಆಹ್ವೇಯ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಸ್ರುವ (ಚಮಚ)ದಿಂದ ಸುರಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಸತ್ತೆಯ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿತ ಧಾಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೋಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
