इन्द्र॒स्यौजो॒ वरु॑णस्य बा॒हू अ॒श्विनो॒रंसौ॑ म॒रुता॑मि॒यं क॒कुत्। बृह॒स्पतिं॒ संभृ॑तमे॒तमा॑हु॒र्ये धीरा॑सः क॒वयो॒ ये म॑नी॒षिणः॑
índrasya ójo váruṇasya bāhū́ aśvínor áṃsā́u marútām iyáṃ kakút | bṛ́haspátiṃ sáṃbhṛtam etám āhur yé dhī́rāsaḥ kaváyo yé manīṣíṇaḥ
Indra’s might, Varuṇa’s arms, the Aśvins’ shoulders—this is the Maruts’ summit. This they call Bṛhaspati, well-compounded, even they who are steadfast, poets, and discerning.
ಇಂದ್ರನ ಓಜಸ್ಸು, ವರುಣನ ಬಾಹುಗಳು, ಅಶ್ವಿನೋರ ಅಂಸಗಳು (ಭುಜ-ಭಾಗ/ಭುಜಸಂಧಿ)—ಇದು ಮರುತಗಳ ಕಕುತ್ (ಶಿಖರ/ಉನ್ನತಸ್ಥಾನ). ಇದನ್ನೇ ಅವರು ‘ಬೃಹಸ್ಪತಿ’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಸುಸಂಯೋಜಿತ; ಧೀರರು, ಕವಿಗಳು, ಮಣೀಷಿಗಳು (ವಿವೇಕಿಗಳು) ಯಾರು ಇದ್ದಾರೋ ಅವರು.
