Sukta 37
परि॑ णो वृङ्ग्धि शपथ ह्र॒दम॒ग्निरि॑वा॒ दह॑न्। श॒प्तार॒मत्र॑ नो जहि दि॒वो वृ॒क्षमि॑वा॒शनिः॑
pári no vṛ́ṅgdhi śapatha hṛdám agnír ivā́ dáhan | śaptā́ram átra no jahí divó vṛkṣám ivā́śaniḥ
Tear from us, O Curse, the heart’s (grief), as fire burneth; and here smite down for us the curser, as heaven’s lightning a tree.
ಓ ಶಪಥ (ಶಾಪ), ಅಗ್ನಿಯಂತೆ ದಹಿಸಿ ನಮ್ಮೊಳಗಿನ ಹೃದಯದ ದುಃಖವನ್ನು ಕಿತ್ತು ದೂರಮಾಡು. ಮತ್ತು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮಿಗಾಗಿ ಶಪಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿ ಹೊಡೆ—ಆಕಾಶದ ಅಶನಿಯು ಮರವನ್ನು ಚೂರುಮಾಡುವಂತೆ.
