इन्द्रस्तवः। यस्ये॒दमा रजो॒ युज॑स्तु॒जे जना॒ वनं॒ स्वः । इन्द्र॑स्य॒ रन्त्यं॑ बृ॒हत्
ಇಂದ್ರಸ್ತವಃ—ಇಂದ್ರನ ಸ್ತುತಿ. ಯಾರದೇ ಇವು ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳು (ರಜಃ), ರಥಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಜೋಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ವೇಗಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾಗಿವೆ; ಅವನ ಬಲದಿಂದ ಜನರು ವನವನ್ನೂ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನೂ ಜಯಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ—ಇಂದ್ರನ ಆನಂದಕೊಡುವ ಮಹಾ ಶಕ್ತಿ ವಿಶಾಲವಾಗಿದೆ.

नाधृ॑ष॒ आ द॑धृषते धृषा॒णो धृ॑षि॒तः शवः॑ । पु॒रा यथा॑ व्य॒थिः श्रव॒ इन्द्र॑स्य॒ नाधृ॑षे॒ शवः॑
ಅನಾಧೃಷ (ಅಜೇಯ)ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಜನರು ಒತ್ತಿ ನುಗ್ಗಲು ಧೈರ್ಯಪಡುತ್ತಾರೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಧೃಷಾಣ—ಧೈರ್ಯಶಾಲಿ—ಮತ್ತು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ಅವನ ಶಕ್ತಿ. ಪುರಾತನದಂತೆ ಈಗಲೂ ವ್ಯಥಿ (ಓಡಾಟ/ಪರಾಭವ) ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರವ (ಯಶಸ್ಸು) ಅವನದೇ—ಇಂದ್ರನ, ಅನಾಧೃಷನ—ಅವನ ಬಲ.

ಇಂದ್ರನು—ಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿ—ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮತ್ತ ಮುಖಮಾಡಿ, ನಮಗೆ ಆ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ದಯಪಾಲಿಸಲಿ: ವಿಶಾಲವಾದ, ಪಿಶಂಗ (ತಾಮ್ರವರ್ಣ) ಮತ್ತು ಶುಭದರ್ಶನವುಳ್ಳದು.
