ಈ ಏಳುಮಂತ್ರಗಳ ಅಥರ್ವಣಿಕ ಸೂಕ್ತವು ಪೌಷ್ಟಿಕ–ಸೌಭಾಗ್ಯ ಮಂತ್ರರೂಪದ ಚರ್ಮವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಸಾಧಕನನ್ನು ಸಮಾನರ (samānāḥ) ನಡುವೆ ಧನ, ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಏಕತೆಯ “ನಾಭಿ” (ಕೇಂದ್ರ/ಹಬ್) ಯಾಗಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಕೋರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯ ಪದಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳು (ರಾಯೀಣಾಂ, ಪಶವಃ) ರಕ್ಷಾತ್ಮಕ ಬಹು-ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ವಲಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ (ಸೂರ್ಯ, ಅಗ್ನಿ, ವಾಯು, ಯಮ, ಸರಸ್ವತಿ) ಸಂಯೋಜಿತವಾಗಿವೆ; ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ–ಅಪಾನಗಳ ಸ್ಥೈರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷ (dakṣa) ಎಂಬ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ, ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಕೇಂದ್ರತ್ವಕ್ಕೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತ ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೂ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

नाभि॑र॒हं र॑यी॒णां नाभिः॑ समा॒नानां॑ भूयासम्
ನಾನು ಸಂಪತ್ತಿನ ನಾಭಿ (ಕೇಂದ್ರ) ಆಗಲಿ; ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾನರ ಮಧ್ಯೆಯೂ ನಾನು ನಾಭಿ (ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರ) ಆಗಲಿ.

स्वा॒सद॑सि सू॒षा अ॒मृतो॒ मर्त्ये॒श्वा
ಸ್ವಯಂ-ಆಸನಸ್ಥನಾಗಿ ನೀನು ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತೀ—ಸಮೃದ್ಧಿಯಾಗಿ, ಪೋಷಿತವಾಗಿ, ಅಮೃತ (ಮರಣರಹಿತ)ನಾಗಿ.

मा मां प्रा॒णो हा॑सी॒न्मो अ॑पा॒नोऽव॒हाय॒ परा॑ गात्
ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡದಿರಲಿ; ಅಪಾನವೂ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ತ್ಯಜಿಸಿ ದೂರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಗದಿರಲಿ.

सूर्यो॒ माह्नः॑ पात्व॒ग्निः पृ॑थि॒व्या वा॒युर॒न्तरि॑क्षाद् य॒मो म॑नु॒ष्येऽभ्यः॒ सर॑स्वती॒ पार्थि॑वेभ्यः
ಹಗಲಿನಿಂದ ಸೂರ್ಯನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ; ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಅಗ್ನಿಯು; ಅಂತರಿಕ್ಷದಿಂದ ವಾಯುವು; ಮನುಷ್ಯರಿಂದ ಯಮನು; ಮತ್ತು ಪಾರ್ಥಿವ ಉಪದ್ರವಗಳಿಂದ ಸರಸ್ವತೀ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲಿ.

प्राणा॑पानौ॒ मा मा॑ हासिष्टं॒ मा जने॒ प्र मे॑षि
ಹೇ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಾನ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬೇಡಿ—ಇಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬೇಡಿ; ಜನರ ನಡುವೆ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿ.

स्व॒स्त्य॑१द्योषसो॑ दो॒षस॑श्च॒ सर्व॑ आपः॒ सर्व॑गणो अशीय
ಇಂದು ಸ್ವಸ್ತಿ-ಮಂಗಳವಾಗಲಿ—ಉಷಸ್ಸುಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೂ ರಾತ್ರಿಗಳ ಮೂಲಕವೂ; ನಾನು ಸರ್ವ ಆಪಃ (ಜಲಗಳು) ಪಡೆಯಲಿ, ಸರ್ವ ಗಣ (ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಸಮೂಹ) ಪಡೆಯಲಿ.

शक्व॑री स्थ प॒शवो॑ मोप॑ स्थेषुर्मि॒त्रावरु॑णौ मे प्राणापा॒नाव॒ग्निर्मे॒ दक्षं॑ दधातु
ನೀವು ಶಕ್ವರಿಗಳು ಆಗಿರಿ; ಪಶುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಿ. ಮಿತ್ರ-ವರುಣರು ನನ್ನವರಾಗಲಿ—ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಣ-ಅಪಾನವೂ; ಅಗ್ನಿ ನನ್ನೊಳಗೆ ದಕ್ಷತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬಲವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಿ.
It means becoming the central point where wealth, opportunities, and social attention converge—so that among one’s peers (samānāḥ) one is recognized as the focal person through whom resources and decisions circulate.
Because Atharvanic prosperity is meant to be protected and stable: these powers guard different domains (day, earth, midspace, human/social threats, and earthly harms), forming a complete protective boundary so wealth and status are not easily lost.
It can be recited as an intention-and-protection sequence: set the aim with 16.4.1 (social and financial centrality), then ‘close’ protection with 16.4.4, and finish by steadying breath and resolve with 16.4.7 (prāṇa–apāna, dakṣa).
