Sukta 2
यो वि॒श्वच॑र्षणिरु॒त वि॒श्वतो॑मुखो॒ यो वि॒श्वत॑स्पाणिरु॒त वि॒श्वत॑स्पृथः । सं बा॒हुभ्यां॒ भर॑ति॒ सं पत॑त्रै॒र्द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी ज॒नय॑न् दे॒व एकः॑
yó viśvácārṣaṇir utá viśvató-mukho yó viśvatáspāṇir utá viśvatáspṛthaḥ | sáṃ bāhúbhyāṃ bhárati sáṃ patátrair dyā́vā-pṛthivī́ janáyan devá ékaḥ
He who is of all peoples, and hath faces on every side; he who hath hands on every side, and is broad on every side—he beareth all together with his arms, all together with his wings, generating Heaven and Earth, the one God.
ಯಾವನು ಸರ್ವಜನರೊಳಗಿರುವವನು, ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವವನು; ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುವವನು, ಎಲ್ಲ ದಿಕ್ಕುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ವ್ಯಾಪಿಸಿರುವವನು—ಆ ಏಕ ದೇವನು ತನ್ನ ಬಾಹುಗಳಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಧರಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ತನ್ನ ಪಂಖಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಒಂದಾಗಿ ಹೊರುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದ್ಯಾವಾ-ಪೃಥಿವಿ (ಆಕಾಶ ಮತ್ತು ಭೂಮಿ)ಯನ್ನು ಜನಿಸುವವನು ಆ ಏಕ ದೇವನೇ.
